We ran a fun, fantastic, and fruitful tournament back in late March. We limited the army sizes to 1000 points. 2 hour time limit. You scored points for all enemy figures killed. We also threw in an objective in the middle of the field worth an additional 100 points.

Figs needed to be 'accurate': proxies ok, as long as they looked as close as possible to the fig they represented. All figs, regardless of brand, had to be painted. We also had a voting sheet where everyone got to vote on three categories: Army Paint Quality, Army Composition, and Best Sportsman. You couldn't vote for yourself. The winner of each of these categories won an additional 100 points to be added to their totals. Highest 2 totals after everyone played 3 games played in a sudden death "Super Bowl" game. Winner takes all. 2nd place received a prize, as well.
