DARK REVELATIONS
Tactical tips for using the Devout against the other forces
DEVOUT VS. OBSIDIAN SERPENT ELVES
- One of the strongest armies out there, IMHO.
 - They've got high armor and high damage on you.
 - If he uses a Lotus Eater, spend time gunning for it. It's worth
	it.
 - Take a Tormented. Mucho armor and damage. Send it after his Obsidian
	Guard or his Adamantite Golem.
 - You'll need some Cursed to counter their Axemen.
 - Consider some Risen to guard your magic users. Their immunity to the
Elves' superior bowmen will be useful. Beware of the archers
	outmanuvering you.
 - Dusk Realm Warriors are expensive, but strong and with good armor.
Will counter against the Obsidian strengths very well. But beware,
	they are quite slow.

DEVOUT VS. SONS OF KRONOS
- They've got speed and high damage on their side.
 - You need Risen Archers and Jackal Crossbowmen, as you can hurt him
	plenty with missile weapons.
 - Also, the Risen are easily sacrificed because they're so cheap. Once
he gets stuck up fighting them, send in the Cursed to make it a
party. Their armor will peel away compared to the Cursed axes.
 - Consider the Wailers. They are fast, and hit hard. Their wail might be
	useful too.
 - Demon Wings. Hard for his slingers to shoot down, and will give you
some ability to flank on a frontier he can't fight.

DEVOUT VS. DWARVES
- There's a lot of versatility in the Dwarf army. They are not all
slow, lumbering armored midgets.
 - Shooty: Dwarves have missile weapon superiority. Face it. Risen
are a good start at neutralizing it, but Risen cannot withstand a
Dwarven charge.

DEVOUT VS. BLACKBLOOD
- Like the Dwarves, a highly versatile army. You can;t know what you
will be facing when it hits the table.
 - Multiple Wounds: A Blackblood general can field a full army of troops
with multiple wounds.
 - Mounted Units: Anotehr big Blackblood problem.

DEVOUT VS. STYGIAN
- Speed. They've got you beat. Just own up to the fact that they will be
determining the charge. But don't let them decide the fight as a
	result.
 - The lynchpin to defeating the Stygian is your spellcasters,
especially the Warped Lord and the Stalker.
- Stygian leadership isn't especially high. A couple well-placed
Possessions can throw chaos into their line troops. If you're
lucky, you can even set off his blood frenzy.
 - Wait until he gets his snakes close to your main lines. Go for the
Stalker/Dark One's Fury/Give Two Orders combo, and clean
the house with him. Even Skeletons get scary when they move in
	like that.

 - Big guns. The Abyss Crawler will really only help against the
Priestess, and he willdefinately get mobbed once he surfaces. On
the other hand, the Tormented is a wrecking ball, and even the
Damned is great backup for your line troops (send him after
	their bigger guns.)
 - Exploit their lack of flyers and shooters. Soulflayers cause problems,
especially with their template. Demon Wings are a bit expensive,
but can mob up the Ophidian while the Soulflayer works on the
	rest.
 - Jackal Crossbows, lots of shots.
 - Skeleton Archers, Necromancer to Quicken them. Repeat as
	necessary.
