Here's a Semai army that I've had good results with. Acolytes (x5), HMG specialist, Initiate (121 points) Initiates(x5), Sacristan (111 points) Necromutants(x5), Centurion (136 points) Destroyers(x5), Sergeant (136 points) Centurions (x4) (104 points) Reaper of Souls (36 points) Razide (77 points) Metro Prophet (114 points) Callistonian Sundancer (45 points) Nepharite of Semai with False Orders (105 points) Total points = 993 You have: 1 Lesser Horde Squad, 1 Greater Hoard Squad, 1 Horde Individual 2 Cult Lesser Squads, 1 Cult Greater Squad, 1 Cult Individual 3 Apostle Individuals For Tactics, * Use the Centurions to protect the Nepharite and for CC, * Use the Razide as a Bullet Attractor and for heavy fire support * Use the Destroyers to Tac Sense to units that hold key terrain features, to bring fire on enemy units that are hurting your forward elements, and to concentrate fire on enemy units. * Use the False Orders to activate enemy units in a manner that benefits you such as mystics/keepers that don't have LOS to their own troops so they can't bless those elite troopers with GHotC. :) * Use the Sundancer to pick off sergeants, support weapons specialists, and individuals. * Use the Reaper to harass your opponent by using him as a stalking horse to open up the best attack for the Prophet. * The major drawback is that you have no AT attacks. If you are going to be facing walkers and such, drop a couple of trooper models and the false orders and take the Betrayal power. Works great on units with twin mounted HMG for mowing down enemy infantry. :) Best of all, it's a legal army no matter how you read the FAQ. :) ------------------ -Sniper- Sniper [waynebrown@mailcity.com]
