OVERLORD, THE SIXTH APOSTLE

Cybertronic pioneers and terraformers, staking out new ground on asteroids, have encountered attacks by an unknown faction. No detailed reports have yet been filed. Cyberscouts have been sent with all recent operations with the sole purpose of getting as much data as possible as quickly as possible, and then escaping back to safe space.

Early reports led the analysts to believe it was another attack by the Dark Legion, something encountered during their initial expansion. However, later review of the debris, and some unclear footage from the camera on a TA6500, show a different story. Whatever the surprise opponent was, the front line troops appeared to be skeletal-looking robots. And in the background of the haze and gunfire, the silhouette of some massive exoskeleton, or robot, with many arms and a wicked electroblade.

At first, it seemed the Brotherhood was vindicated. Isolated attacks on far-flung, small groups of space travellers were tied to advanced technology, which strongly bore a resemblance to Cybertronic prototypes. Reports were too scattered to be conclusive, however; there were never many accurate reports from the few survivors, and no captured enemy or any of theit technology.

Cybertronic immediately put its best efforts into covering up the attacks, until they could determine what was happening. They even went so far as to claim credit for some of the assaults, for as the reports came in, things were looking more and more dire. They were forced to weather attacks from the likes of Imperial and Capital for raids they did not commit.

It was one of their experts on Semai that realized the source of the attacks was probably the Dark Legion. However, as more evidence came in, it was clear this was not one of the known Apostles. The technology was too efficient to be Algeroth's, too clean to be Demnogonis.

Why would Cybertronic cover up obvious Dark Legion encroachment? Asides from their long-standing problems with the Brotherhood, they also selfishly wanted to steal some of the technology for themselves, to incorporate it into their designs. Their earlier tests with merging Necrotech all failed miserably, but this new, sleeker design, just might work...

Cybertronic plans to claim, when word gets out, that fear of technology spawned this new Apostle, dubbed "Overlord." And it turns out that soon, they'll be able to use that "publicity control" they've been working on.

Recently, a Golden Lions observer team a battle between Cybertronic and what they called "a Legion of Steel." It won't be long before word travels fast, and then Cybertronic will be put to the test for covering this information up.

Cybertronic's analysis is right. The Overlord was spawned from humanity's fear of technology, reinforced by the Brotherhood's directives. Each of the Apostles represents a wicked aspect of the Dark Soul present in humanity:
